Conditions of Entry

Entries should adhere to the following conditions: ........................................................................................................................

£1m Aerials Creative Challenge

  • To qualify for the 'Aerial for most outstanding commercial for a new advertiser', brands must not have been on radio (excludes S&P) in the last 2 years (up to 1st May 2010) and the copy must be new i.e. never before aired on UK Commercial Radio
  • To qualify for the 'Aerial for most outstanding commercial for a charity', brands can be both new (not been on radio in the last 2 years) and existing (been on air in the last year)
  • Existing advertisers can create a new ad specifically for the awards but it MUST go out somewhere on UK Commercial Radio before 2nd July 2010 (however small the campaign)
  • All entrants must seek permission to enter ads on behalf of the brands featured in the entry
  • Entrants MUST provide an audio file of the radio commercial being entered - script entries will not be accepted
  • Each entry must be submitted with the relevant entry form

Entering all other categories

  • To qualify campaigns must have been aired on UK Commercial Radio either wholly or partly between 1st July 2009 and 2nd July 2010
  • Entrants MUST provide an audio file of the radio commercial being entered
  • Each entry must be submitted with the relevant entry form

Submitting Entries

Submissions must include:
  • The relevant entry form
  • Relevant audio clips in MP3 format (where beyond the spot activity is entered, an audio montage of no greater than 1 minute should be included).
